Hannah Seligman, Associate, advocates for individuals who have faced discrimination or retaliation in the workplace or a denial of their civil service protections. Her clients include federal and private sector employees who have experienced whistleblower retaliation, discrimination, sexual harassment, and denials of their right to reasonable accommodation. She practices before federal courts, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB), the U.S. Office of Special Counsel, and arbitrators.

In law school, Ms. Seligman interned in the office of former EEOC Vice Chair Jocelyn Samuels and at the National Women’s Law Center. She also served as a Senior Articles Editor on the American University Journal of Gender, Social Policy, and the Law.

Prior to law school, Ms. Seligman worked as a policy advocate focused on women’s economic security issues including paid family and medical leave, equal pay, pregnancy accommodation in the workplace, paid sick days, and raising the minimum wage. She also earned a master’s degree in public policy from The George Washington University.

Ms. Seligman is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA) and the Metropolitan Washington Employment Lawyers Association (MWELA).

Ms. Seligman enjoys reading about Tudor history, musical theater, and trying new recipes in her free time.
