ALG Welcomes Associate Attorney Abigail Young

Abigail Young joins ALG following her work with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development as a Trial Attorney and Legal Honors Attorney.

In law school, Abigail interned for the Voting Section of the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice and the Voting Rights Project of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law.  She also served as a Certified Legal Intern for the Miami Dade Public Defenders’ Office.  Additionally, Abigail was a clinical intern for the Housing Practice of the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau and the University of Miami School of Law Innocence Clinic.  She served as an Editor of the University of Miami Race and Social Justice Law Review.  Abigail earned her J.D. as a Public Interest Scholar at the University of Miami School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude.
