Bekah Bass, Associate, advocates for individuals in the federal and private sectors in discrimination and retaliation matters. She practices before federal courts, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB), the U.S. Office of Special Counsel, and arbitrators. Ms. Bass is dedicated to protecting her clients’ civil rights and civil service rights.
Prior to Atkinson Law Group, Ms. Bass was a Legal Honors Attorney at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Ms. Bass also served as a Law School Fellow at the George Washington University Law School’s Civil and Human Rights Law Clinic.
In law school, Ms. Bass interned at the EEOC’s Washington Field Office in the Federal Hearings Section and at the Housing and Civil Enforcement Section of the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. She was also a judicial intern at the U.S. District Court of the District of Columbia for Judge Rudolph Contreras and at the Appellate Court of Maryland for Judge Terrence Zic. Ms. Bass also served as an Articles Editor on The George Washington Law Review.
Ms. Bass enjoys baking, listening to podcasts, and trying new coffee shops in her free time.
